Description The first picture made with my new Copic Sketch markers!
I decided to draw a sweet picture of my fabulous lesbian Melanie ~
I'm really happy with how well the markers blended with each other, and they were alot of fun to work with! ;0;
Still trying to figure out how to use them but I think this was a decent start
I would really appreciate feedback on my traditional art, as I need a bit more of a push to upload these, since it's been a while since I last drawn on paper, and with a new medium and all ^^'
I'd just really like to know if you'd like to see more marker art or not

Materials used:
Copic Sketch markers, Copic Multiliner SP, Sakura White Gelly Roll pen, White Posca Fine Nib pen & Moleskine Notebook.

I think I need to get myself some of those markers o0o They seem to work so well!

SillyTheWolf In reply to FrostTheShapeshifter [2016-08-07 16:02:55 +0000 UTC]

They are really good, pricy, but if you save up you can buy some c:
I believe the Copic Ciao are basically the same deal, but with a thinner barrel and less pricy

Ah, ok ^^ I'll have to see if I can get some of those. Is there a certain kind of paper they work well with, by any chance?

Any marker paper will do just fine, but if you want a paper that are actually made more those markers, get a paper from the same Copic brand c:
I've used them on various marker paper. Like the Copic kind, Letraset and Winsor & Newton, and they work just fine on all of those
They also work pretty well on watercolor paper, which is alot thicker than marker paper, which I sometimes prefer, as the marker paper is easily ripped or scrunched up.
But I'd recommend the Copic marker paper, or any other marker paper of any quality brand. Just make sure the paper you use is bleedproof, as they tend to go through the paper

Interesting! I'll keep all of this in mind and try and save up for some ^^ I often just use copy paper since I tend to use more of just the colored pencils; but after seeing this, I'm inspired to try them out for myself! ^^
