So.
This is part of the fashion themes challenge thing I'm doing.
Now.
Tell me, what part of "fanboy" is fashionable? I always imagined fanboys as being the antithesis of one who is fashionable. Haha I challenge some anybody to draw a plausible version of a fanboy and make him fashionable.

LOL. I was so conflicted with how to approach doing this. There are so many interpretations of what a "fanboy" is, depending on what perspective one stands at. So in the end.. I thought I was going to go with some lanky guy with a prominent adam's apple sporting a classic Star Wars tee wearing a smug look on his face that would kinda say.. PWNED U//i r 1337. Bobba Fett (sp?) was chosen because he was green and I needed green to go with the glasses that compliment his eyes..
(mmm I'm so fashion savvy... not)What happened to this... was... not... what I wanted... really. I like his jeans though. But this is such a glorified image of a fanboy.

Yay for your fashion challenge! I don't remember fanboy, but whatever. And yeah, that does seem like a pretty spiff nerd. But fanboys can be cool--if they're fans of cool shows. Lost fans are pretty well accepted around my parts.
I'm a fangirl.
Because it's so much fun! They'll get all in your face and insult you and then you just say something in elven, or like "Yeah, well he's hot and your not. OOoh! Dissed and dismissed!" Or something like that. Personally, I like fighting people about it, so much fun.
Okay, back to your picture. If you were going for the nerdy fanboy look, you way under did it. The pose is a little too cocky for a nerdy boy. The smug look is good, but I think it would have helped if he was doing a geeky hand sign or saying something--though, I don't recall any of your pictures ever having people saying stuff on them. Shirt works, but I think the jeans are way too cool for him. Spiff green ness. His face looks right though--that kind of lanky hair and sideburns. Glasses don't look too bad though.

Mmm I see... I guess it depends on what an average person with the mainstream likes. The only reason "fangirls/fanboys" are singled out I suppose is because their fandom is of something society sees as abnormal or eccentric.

Very very cool, especially since Starwars has always been one of my classic favorites.XD Came out VERY well.
