I've been watching a lot of Death Battle lately. I seriously love these things. Here we have the fight between Banjo and Kazooie from Banjo-Kazooie and Yooka and Laylee from Yooka-Laylee.

Why they should fight – Both are a pair with a similar relationship and an assortment of combo moves that work with their partner and on their own.

Battle scenario – Banjo and Kazooie, along with Yooka and Laylee, are on an adventure and run into each other. Thinking the other is an enemy, they attack.

Predicted winner – Yeah, we all know that this win is going to Banjo and Kazooie. Yooka and Laylee are not only obvious rip-offs of the two of them, but they're also beneath them in both attacks and abilities. Banjo and Kazooie not only have the size advantage, but also have a lot more attack options, including alternate versions of some of their attacks, like Kazooie's feathers and eggs. And that's not even including assist items and animal transformations. Kazooie also has her Wonder Wing attack, which makes her and Banjo invincible, and would, in theory, even be able to break through Laylee's Sonar Shield. Winner, Banjo and Kazooie.
