A little break piece again. Initially wanted to practice close ups, because I really liked doing Violette's eyes. Then ended up using the sketch to practice coloring faster. Using the pencil tool to shade and then blurring it is pretty nifty ouo
Then there's the more layer property fiddling. It's freaking awesome. Makes the colors all nice and blended so it looks all pretty ; u ;

nope, you're right; there is something off with that mouth, but i can't seem to adjust it to suit my taste (no pun intended) :/ but wow, thank you >//w//< i'm just glad people still enjoy my work~

trust me, that was my opinion of myself 6 years ago (darnit i'm revealing my age XD), when all i could draw were dragons copied off magic the gathering cards.
still, i've only been able to draw non-chibi characters recently-- it's nothing new to say, but practicing really does help. it especially helps to use tutorials and framework skeletons to determine proportions ouo still can't draw hands, but i've learned how to draw more proportioned bodies from tutorials. if i can do it after that many years, you totally could too.

I know, they're fun and they really show the devilish side. And deep reds are often associated with love/lust, so appropriate for succubi. You should see my Alissa and Damian in their devil forms, they have the same eyes
