Heya! Finally a deviation I really like..This is an answer to 2 other of my deviation:
• Getting Warmer : [link] (can you see the resemblance? blah couldnt call this getting colder could I?
)• Falling : [link] well yeah! somebody had to come and save him!
I called this "Aquarius" because well.. it's my sign but not only; It represents the confusion between Water and Air elements: did you know that aquarius is an Air sign and not a Water sign? In french Aquarius is actually called Verseau which litteraly means the Guy that Pours Water..
For this painting (well yeah i only used watercolors! ~you know, the normal kind ones~) I used a technique called "Lavage" (washing in english) that i found in a book that has been lying there in my library for ages! (didnt even know i had it lol) So i can use many colors and taint previous layers ^.^
Hope you guys will like it as I do!

Like, if you want to get technical about it. . . I think you might of accidently put too much water on one part. lol. >.< Does that answer your question?

Wow! You're really good with the water colors. You smeared one part of the hair, but that's understandable. I've smeared watercolors so many times. . . I got quite frustrated. >.< The body posture is really elegant. . . LOVE IT!

Beautiful ^___^ It makes a very uplifting and positive image. The technique - I agree with Sae - of the two sides, the bottom left side looks like you had more control over the graduation of tone. Love it!

I like this alot.
Leaving white on the page is always a challenge and you did that great! I think that the form of the girl would show up even stronger if you left some lighter blue or white areas on the folds.

Actually i was planning on lighter blue for outside of some folds (not being very clear i'm sorry).. but with the blue lineart and all those layers... well i kinda spilled a bit so i couldnt make it light anymore ^.^

Waw, this is so beautiful. You're becoming very good at watercolours and you manage to overcome so many difficulties that arise when handling them. Kudos! You pulled off the translucent water tendrils, too! It's vivid and tranquil at once. I like how you stayed within the range of colors blue and green provide. The whole of it shows maturity.

May i ask what kinda clouds (yeah those lines are clouds.. or wave erm something) you like better(up right or down left)? I used two techniques, one fast with and hairdryer and one long which took me 1 hours for just 2 layers
