Another full on painting. This one was always intended to be such, and I cheaped out on the sketch thusly. This is meant to be a sort of front cover for a short story I'm writing (or at least, WAS writing...). It's NOT inspired by MCR, but seeing as I was listening to them last night, I decided it fit the overall mood.
I really like using stark black and white in my paintings. Not only does it make it that much easier on me, it actually seems to fit the atmosphere. Maybe if I do make L.a.P. into a graphic novel, this will be how I color it.
I should start coloring my entry for OC-Club's new contest... but I'm not gonna... Soooo, expect moar stuff like this if it cools down any time soon.

Stark black and white has a lot of high impact on art. I like your full painting style, even though it takes a lot of time it has a nice feel to it. Plus, it looks great.

Well, that gives me motavation to keep at it. But ya know, like this, it's actually starting to take less time than coloring in lines. Lo and behold, laziness is GOOD for something!

Glad to give you motivation, both ways is great to see, but lineless art is definatly a change from a lot of stuff I usually see :3 Plus, you;re good at it, and like you said, it's taking less time and getting better .
