I actually drew this LOOOONG before I heard the song, but the song is what actually inspired me to, you know... stop being such a lazy fucker and actually try to PAINT again.
All on one layer, painted OVER my pencil lines (you can probably still see the black smudges- I had to resize it so you couldn't see all my horrible scribbles). And I only used TWO tools- the airbrush and the smudge. I think I'm getting better at painting like this.
On a side note, I MIGHT be going to see Chevelle on the 3rd. I don't know yet. On one hand, I'll be all by my lonesome for about 8 hours, being depressed while the bands are setting up. On the other hand, CHEVELLE, MAN!

I also like her facial features...very delicate.
But not to mention the background which looks great and I admire you cos you made it entirely...I usually use patterns and brushesXD cos I am lazy.

Hair, everyone mentions the hair... what hair? It's a cloud of solid white.
Ugh, I know I should. I'm working on something now (well, not RIGHT now), but if it takes more than 10 hours, I have to stop (you know... to sleep and breathe) and then I'm too lazy to start again. Steal MY skillz?! But-- I was gonna steal YOUR skillz!
Yeah, the face was the easiest thing to paint. I'm probably going to work on portraits for a while (they're easy). The background is a gradation with white dots and a soft airbrush over them. Don't give credit where it's not due. I miss patterns and brushes- I don't have things like that in stupid old GIMP.
Don't tell me what to do! No, I'm a joke. The next piece will be the.... thingy I was doing for you. I just have to do a little more to do for the outfit, but I'll probably never get around to it. On account of I'm lazy and what-have-you.

Why are artists always so lazy? It seems that everyone, no matter how much they love what they do, is constantly complaining that they don't want to do it. We're a pitiful breed.
But I LIKE the brushes/patterns! They make it so easy!
Uh... well, it's a little late to not rush me. I just finished it. Sadly, purple is not one of my strengths so I don't think the color scheme came out that well...

Yeah, it's not that good. But I will accept your accolades without complaint >w< Heh. That's how I am myself- The photographs are just little, spur-of-the-moment things that make me happy, but REAL, hand-made art is where my heart truly lies.
I LOVE THEM TOO!!! Even if I DID go (which, I don't know if I'll be able to), the place where they're playing has some bullshit thing about "not bringing cameras", even though the last time I went, EVERYONE (but me) had them!
