This would be SilverWing in the dun dun duuuun FARSCAPE UNIVERSE! *insert dorkyness of doom here* Sigh I'm sorry, I am such a dork but I can't help it. I have my own little worlds for my favorite TV shows, and Farscape is no exception. In it SilverWing is a sheltie/eagle type creature, though she's not one in those exact terms seeing as she's an alien and not from Earth in that world. (though I have ideas for that but anyway I ramble)I could go on for quite a while about her but to not bore anyone I'll just say the basics... she's kind of a guardian beast (hi Kaz) though not like Kraven... she's built to service a Leviathian... she bonds with one and is its guardian, and has hooks in her back to plug into the ship and communicate directly with it. She's empathetic and can sense how Moya and Pilot are, seeing as she's bonded to Moya in my world of course. She's got some nifty powers, is good with potions, and is pretty much a doctor/healer. She's also a mothertype figure and of course is very loving to all and quite peaceful. (However, threaten her ship and BRISTLE OF DOOM SHELTIE ATTACK occurs) Strangely though she's with Scorpius, even though he's "evil" ...they go way back in my world ok.
Lots of stuff goes there.Blah blah Jolyn you're a dork. At least I finished some art, even if it's not what I needed to be doing. x_x

I absolutely love the dress- it reminds me of a pattern I was looking at for when I make my own dress for Prom this year

I never really stopped to try and watch Farscape. I know my father watches it on a daily basis, but I never really got around to it
The details and the coloring is rather exquisite! Overall, she's beautiful, and upon reading the description, she really seems like an awesome character to add to the current serie!

Oh god, this is just so pretty! I've always loved your full, strong coloring, it adds so much depth and detail to everything. Those WINGS, ohgeez, they look so soft ; ; And I just love the way the angle and the way they flow. SW's face is my favorite part about this, though, she looks so sweet. AUGH just overall everything looks so soft, like seriously I'm going to go over there and hug her right now and poke that lovely fluffy sheltie tail. Gorgeous job.

hecks yeah! im totally excited. its gonna be a double room. i dunno if this idea would work but ive thoguht it would be a great idea for a while. but now since we are getting a double, this might be a great idea. i thoguht one room would be the quiet room and one room would be the loud room, we could move all the bedding into the quiet room and have all the alkeehol in the loud room. dunno how everyone else would feel about that, but i think it would be a good idea... well that is assuming we can move the mattresses.

I've always wanted to see Farscape but we no longer have the channel it comes on. ;; It's always seemed a much more creative show than Earth, or First Wave.
But that's not the point, the point is the picture, which I really like.
I really like Silverwing's face and upper body. I think the anatomy there is great and is very much complimented by the textured colouring and the good inking. Her dress is particularly lovely (the colours you chose look nice and the lighting on it is very good). What really appeals to me is how natural her body shape is. She isn't annorexically skinny, and has more of a womanly look to her. That's something I like about your art in general.
Her leg (the one you can see) look as though it could be a bit more well defined, in that the shape of it is a little indistinct. A part of that is just because it's behind the skirt, and also because of the fur.
I think you did the claws on her feet very well. They look powerful and deadly, but also have a natural look to them (they aren't just rigid and lifeless).

I dont know what farscape is about. But i like all the different creatures in it and people with pretty face make up, and that one guy with the 80's hairdoo...or something. For a while i thought it was a futuristic porn XD cause the first time i tuned into it it was while these two aliens were doing it, or looked like they were doing it and was like O.O whoa. ANYWAY, this is gorgious and i love it and you color like gold

Farscape is one of the best sci-fi's out there! Second to Doctor Who and Hitchhikers Guide in my books.
It's so thought out! Man, I just brought the Farscape RPG (Unfortuntly, as a gift for a friend) and had the same idears, nuts!
You should draw SW with Scorpy, that'd just rock.

Yep, it's a book I think it's still on amazon.com but I just ordered it from my local comic/gaming shop: Area 52.
Mind you, it was proberly the last copy in Australia- at least till they order some more in from the states...
And my favourtie char? Zhan, dman but shes hot! The blueness, the baldness, the...the...plantness...*drools* And yeah, Scorpy's hard to draw in general! Damn creepy leather and wrinkles.

Zhaan is indeed very sexy. She's one of my favs too, her and Pilot but... Scorpius is just the best. That's weird they didn't have anymore copies than that in Australia... seeing as the show was made there. I really doubt I'll be able to find the thing, but I'm gonna try!
