*MakiLoomis gave me the idea of drawing Njal and Astrid as swedish imigrants. And I found it very suitable as between 1800 and 1900, about 1.3 million Swedes left Sweden for a new better life in America due to bad harvests and misery.

The lyrics is the english translation of the original song "Vildgräs" from the musical 'Kristina from Duvemåla', which actually is about the swedish emigration to America in the 1840s.

The song in swedish [link] a rather old video, but oh well xD
