Because of DeviantArt's new terms, I'm pulling all my original images, leaving only 'thumbnails' here. You can find the real picture here .Pangaea: The Roh, the forest spirit of the deep, dark ancient forests of the north - she is the guardian, keeper, mother of her realm and all creatures therein... but two are to her special. The orphan boy of the far west, alien to her land, but its child nonetheless - and her own son, the young unicorn prince.
Night and day, light and dark, but in their own special way both her children; brethren if not in blood, then in the bond they share with the land. Yin and Yang in the most fateful times ever to shake her realm.
Media used: Corel Photopaint 9, Wacom tablet. Computer painted from scratch.

I had a character like her once. Her name was Kip, she was the Kai of the moon... a sweet woman with pale skin and silver hair. She took into her care a small orphaned girl who later fell in love with her son, Rook. She lived in a place of eternal night and was part of that world. It was said that when the wind blew it came like her breaths...

It's symbolizing how she's a manifestation of the land itself. It not as much disappears as blends with the grass and moss of the forest.

Very Beautiful picture I especially like the wisping hair and it was very hard to pick one thing out of this to place above the rest, so that is not what I meant by that. Though I did originally think it was a magic effect. InstaFav keep up the great work
