Description my first trial with image transfer technique with Acrylic Gel medium , using one pic. & old novel pages, then painting with acrylic colors on canvas.

Hi this is my email nevienharoun@hotmail.com I am egyption but living in Dubai. I was doing that works in my school as i am visual art teacher in IB school. I just have a question for you after tranfere any image the colors look bright but after a while it becomes very pale do you know anything to make it bright as it is. And i also try that technique on cotton it is very cool. I will be appericated if you feed me back.

for ur question i Know what u mean coz i'm having this prblm also, but i think there is a material that can be painted on the finished work to keep it glossy & to keep the original colors, i forgot the name but i will search for it coz i need it too & i will let u know my friend

thank you for replying by the way i read before that after you finish u need to lay another coat from gel medium, is that true i didnt try it yet but may be it works. by the way i will make an acount because the first time i send u it was from my sister. It's a very good image transfer. I never thought about transfering old book pages. It works as well, then?

i think it works well with all types of paper, but i've seen perfect results with magazine pages as well as ink-jet & laser printed pages
