Description
A remake of Thunder! I first revealed his humanoid form, in a small teaser, back in January 2018. I did his true form (you see here) April 7th, 2019.

The Species, the Xanos, were created in 2016. Around June. But I didn't have a story or really anything for them, so a lot of characters didn't exist back then, I just randomly made designs and thought nothing of it. But around late 2017, I started thinking more on them. Came up with the Originals.

Thunder is one of them, he's the youngest, and his story is still a work in progress.

Anywho, enough rambling, onto what the water variants are

But Water variants are the biggest and bulkiest Xanos, second to them is the fire variants.

They do better in water, than on land, for a few reasons. One, only Thunder can breath both air and water, other water variants need a special collar to breath on land, they can last out of water, for roughly 3 hours, before they are completely dried up & start to suffocate. Their sails actually hold in water once they climb out of water. Which in turn, makes them very heavy/heavy footed. You can always, always, feel a water variant coming before you see one.

Water variants are never known for their stealth or low, hushed, voices. They tend to be the most outspoken, honest, good-hearted and good-natured variants. Most generally want friends and lots of them. That's just most, not all, some are content with just a pawful of friends or simply one or two good friends. But a water variant /always/ needs at least 2 or more friends. Without that, they'd go crazy.

Either way, they're not known to be shy and are often the ones to engage first in a conversation, they also struggle to hold their tongues and let others talk. Thunder is bad for this, he often cuts off others, getting too excited to bite his tongue and wait. He does apologize and sincerely too, but he still does it, because he's easily excitable.

They have a single row of horns on their head, at the back of their skull, on the last horn, it splits into two sails and connects to the "spines" along their backs. Water variants do not and never have had wings. Even mixed or half breeds never do.

Water variants can only (and just barely) stand on their hind legs, they can not walk on their hind legs. They are too top heavy and would immediately topple without support.
