Oh this animation is very very old and I've never watched it.But just some in Youtube because I hadn't born yet when it was on-airing. O___o
I quite interested me and I've heard(and watched a teaser) of the remake.
I'm hoping I can find it in Thailand.

God, I STILL have REALLY BAD memories of when the show aired here in the late 1970s as Battle Of The Planets (I think that they were originally going to title it G-Force back in the day, but then the movie Star Wars came out, thus explaining why they titled it Battle Of The Planets...). Apart from the bad editing to meet anal FCC regualtions regarding Children's Programming, renaming one of the characters "Princess" (referring back to the whole Star Wars thing), and changing one character from a smart-assed kid to a "speech-impaired robot",......they added footage with some R2-D2 knockoff named 7-Zark-7!!

It was in the U.S. that a company called Sandy Frank Syndication "butchered" the original Science Ninja Team Gatchaman series and retitled it Battle of the Planets back in 1978. I hope that it helps clear up some confusion.

In Thailand it was named "Yew sai fah"(Thunder falcons) quite a bad name right?
And it similar to Jetman that was named "Wihok sai fah"(Thunder birds).
So... many young people in Thailand think that Gatchaman copied Jetman, WHAT A SHAME!

At least they aired Choujin Sentai Jetman in YOUR end of the world. Closest thing we have here are Americanised versions of current Super Sentai shows called Power Rangers.
