...back againA short comic of a theory my friends and I discussed during the Korra hiatus. From what we've seen (as far as ep 8 in my case) firebenders can only bend lightning, don't think they can redirect it. I also don't think Zuzu would have taught many people how to do this, especially since it's a unique move that Iroh invented.
I would have put his famous "Hello, Zuko here" line at the end but it felt too excessive. I could have worked around it but meeeeh too lazyy

Actually a suit of metal armor would work, its called a Faraday cage, the metal is a better conductor than electricity than you are so i flows through that

Actually, you were correct about one thing. Β In episode 10, we saw Mako getting grabbed by one of the giant launched claws of a mecha tank. But he grabbed the attached cable, he directed the energy back at the tank's body in the form of lighting. Β Also, even though the hair is done up differently, this really does look like how Zuko turned out, when he appeared at the beginning of Book 3: Change.
As I was reading this, and got the the mention of rubber suits, I thought this comic was going in the direction a super hero parody, WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME . Β But actually, that's a pretty reasonable idea on Bolin's part. Β I'm surprised that show staff didn't think of that, actually. Β It would have been a great excuse to put the Krew in costume. Β Asami could have designed them!
I have to say though, I was straining to read a lot of this, even when I downloaded it.
