absolutely ^^ the myths only describe him as a serpent but i can't draw snakes well so, like his older brother, his resting/normal form is his animal one but he can sort of change into a person but he's not as good as his dad or mum at shape-shifting so he's still got a lot of snake parts, like Fenrir has his tail and ears even in his person form ^^ 

oh cool i consider having Jormy's second form as a normal Jotun/human but changed my mind as i wanted him to stand out a bit more

Yeah, in his human form he still has the fins behind his ears, as well as a few patches of scales here and there.

been wanting to draw him again for a while, your comment gave me the kick i needed  

Jormungandr (Jormy for short) he loves to read and is pretty shy around strangers. he's very self conscious of his appearance (even though his brother Fenrir is part wolf and his sister is half dead), but despite this he's very interested in humans. thinking they're the most fascinating creatures in existence. since he was exiled/imprisoned to spend his life in the ocean of midgard/earth he tends to spy on people from the depths, which freaks them out everytime he sees something cool on the ocean floor, seaweed, shells etc., he adds it to his hair. with his family he's quite different, he argues a lot with his little sister, though adores her. he loves his big brother, mum (Angrboda) and dad (Loki). because he's cold blooded he couldn't play outside with his siblings on cold days so his dad used to read to him instead, which is where his love of reading comes from ^^
