my version of everyone's favourite Norse god of fire Loki

Loki's canon (stuff i've made up, includes some elements of the myths)
Loki is the youngest son of Laufey and Farabuti, he has two biological older brothers named Helblindi and Bylestr. Farbauti was a powerful lord in the north of Jotunheim and at the beginning everyone in the family was looking forward to having a new addition in the family but the Norns (creatures in Norse mythology that see the past, present and future) told Farbauti and Laufey that Loki was destined to be the mastermind behind Ragnarok (the end of the universe). Farabuti freaked out and wanted Loki dead before that could ever happen but Laufey, being stubborn as ever, refused to let that happen (short story about Loki's birth is here -> sir-hattington.deviantart.com/… ). Loki's older brothers adopted their father's views on him and treated him badly while he was a kid, his mum tried to protect him but was a very sick woman and was often bed-bound for a lot of the time.
she died when Loki was around 11 and afterwards he promptly left home and wound up in Svartalfheim. he made a good living off tricking the dwarves who lived there. they kept challenging the young trickster to get them items which would have been impossible to get, like the noise a cat makes when walking, a woman's beard, roots of a mountain, fishes breath etc. After succeeding all these tasks the dwarves where getting sick of him and were planning on getting him killed so they sent him to Asgard to steal something from the king's throne room. Loki did one better and stole the ring off the king's finger before disappearing. the king (Odin) was so impressed he tracked Loki down and offered him a chance to learn magic from him, Loki wasn't really fussed and turned him down, so Odin raised the stakes and offered to make him his blood brother (and royalty of Asgard). Loki agreed and moved to Asgard with Odin. it took a while for the brothers to earn one another's trust but once they did they were fiercely loyal to each other.
a year or so after Loki got to Asgard and settled in, Thor (one of Odin's sons) turned up. he had a temper problems and so Loki decided it would be fun to torment Thor, much to Odin's despair. through some of Odin's tricks they became friends and after some time best friends.
