GRRM's ASOIAFThis is kind of a work in progress but, I figured I'll throw it up anyway. It's everybody's favorite outlaws, the Brotherhood Without Banners! Starring....from left to right;
The Ghost of High Heart (I predict misfortune will befall everybody in this saga!)
Jack-Be-Lucky (I don't have many scenes but boy am I missing one eye!)
Edric Dayne (Hi. I'm Edric Dayne. I squire. This is my story.)
Greenbeard (You may be wondering how I got my name. Well, I dye my bea-oh...you weren't wondering?)
Beric Dondarrion (.........)
Thoros of Myr (I have made strange choices in life.)
Lem Lemoncloak (You may think I'm cool but I'm actually a real nutsack.)
Gendry Waters (There isn't enough helm polishing in the world to make me not want to polish this helm. Gods be damned I love helm polishing.)
Tom Sevenstrings (I'm also known as Tom of Sevenstreams, Tom O' Sevens, and Tom O' Seven STDS of Varying Intensity.)
The Mad Huntsman (There's mad, and there's mad. I'm both. And a third. Hoot hoot hoot globby glorp glim glam gorggle!)
Anguy the archer (I blew like 10,000 dragons in one day. Clearly I am the smartest of the bunch.)
I did not include Harwin because, I mean who the hell cares about Harwin? If there's someone I left out or should put in let me know. Also I realize Gendry is kind of a heartthrob so I did my best.

I liked Oberyn Martell the most, who ended up with a smashed head! I actually like a good many of ASOIAF characters, mostly Jon, Val, Jaime, Tyrion, Sandor and Arya.

I like Val too, she's so mysterious and powerful. I actually like the Wildlings a whole lot. Rattleshirt was one of my favorites haha. I love the ugly and weak characters. I love the Hound of course, like everybody. My favorite is probably Ser Barristan though he is just so knightly it overwhelms me. I LOVE knights. Jaime when he becomes worried about his knightly legacy is awesome to me. Qhorin Halfhand was great to me too, because he was like kind of a knight in his own way. I think my favorite to read from though is Aeron Greyjoy, the Damphair. He is so unlike all the other characters that I can't get enough of him.

yeah wildlings are lovely! along with Val, I like Mance himself, and Tormund! Ygritte, sixskins and Thenns... All of them are unique in their own way.
The exact point about Jaime! Every knight has his own guilts, but Jaime is the only one blamed for them. It always makes me angry, I mean, he had done a few bad things (deceiving Tyrion in Tysha's case was his worst, I think) but there are far worse knights than him to be blamed, like Ser Gregor, many of them Freys, Ser Meryn and etc. Jaime is somehow unlucky in that point! He has, let's say, his own way of honor. I hope people finally see his true self, just as Brienne sees him.
Qhorin's death was one of deaths that made me sad... What if he lived and helped Jon against his many enemies...?
The hound is the character that actually made me cry! When he went to say goodbye to Sansa I truly cried a gallon of tears... and When he was dying it was even worse... I hope he comes back in the books, I really miss him. He is one true badass!

I hope so too. But then again I think maybe George R. R. Martin has the best ideas of when you should get a character or not. Sometimes it's better not to ruin them or overuse them. You certainly can't accuse him of fan service.
But actually my favorite-favorite character is Bran. Bran is the book to me. He is the main plot, more than Jon or Dany I think.

Bran is sure important. If he wasn't, knowing how Martin treats his characters, he'd be dead the moment he fell from the tower. but he's still alive and Wights and Others and cold couldn't kill him, so I think he'll live long!

I'm nearly at the end of aDwD. you mean him being a greenseer? that's really important for story line, but even reading that part was hard for me! but I liked the part he saw his father and Benjen and Lyanna and other Starks in godswood

haha well, I was more into it than other people I guess. Have you read the short stories, the Hedge Knight featuring Ser Duncan the Tall? I would highly recommend you read all three.

Remember, though, how Thoros is described as wearing an almost random assortment of armor and such. According to Arya, he also appeared skinny and unpriestlike, I believe.
