grrm's asoiafThis was a really fun commission. Depicting the awesome moment when not only does Joffrey get poop thrown onto his face, adjacent to his nose and eyes and oh so pouty lips, but he gets kicked in the face by everybody's favorite Joffrey hitter, Tyrion Lannister. Clearly the worst thing ever to happen during that King Bread riot. Tyrek, Lollys, delicious High Septon? Don't say anything.
Now, there are several things wrong with this picture. One, it has a background and that is not my strong point. So. There's that. Second, the Hound was not actually present at this as he was defending Sansa's maidenhead like it was going out of style. However I already drew him pulling Tyrion off before I realized it was some other dude and I was just putting the finishing touches on the drool and I was like...ah whatever. So anybody seeing this do not let it overlap your memory of the actual book events. Let's keep it turbo-nerd here.
Speaking of turbo-nerding, can somebody tell me who pulls Tyrion off of Joffrey?

Before I clicked on this one and saw the description, I thought this might be a rendition of the battle between the Viper and the Mountain (not that Joffrey was involved)...hated how that ended in the book. I like how you keep to the ghoulish characteristics of Tyrion rather than going "pretty-boy" from the show even if Dinklage is a badass.

Something I noticed-whenever Martin kills a major character, he almost always confirms the death from another POV perspective by the end of the book. If Jon was truly dead, I think there would've been a Melisandre chapter afterwards confirming it.

Sandor's a Timelord, and he went to rescue Companion Sansa, then hopped in the Tardis so he could also witness Joff getting his butt kicked by a man 3 feet tall.

Oh... it's a Dr. Who thing. One of those guys who travels through time. The Doctor's the last Timelord, and spends a lot of his time angsting about it. That, and fezzes. He angsts about fezzes.
Going back and looking at this picture again, it DOES look like the Hound is helping Tyrion by lifting him to perfect kick-height. This picture is golden in all ways.

I really can't read the books anymore without imagining the characters as you've drawn them. So ugly, and thus so amazing! It's because of this that I giggle inappropriately each time I read about Rorge and Biter committing atrocities, not that it's actually funny (well, it *can* be with Biter)...
