Hello! I'm from ProjectComment and my tag was "time".
I think a lot of pieces from your gallery actually fit that theme pretty well, it was a difficult choice!
I chose this one because I think it is a nice snapshot frozen in time. Your colours here are very bright and the blues play off of the yellow nicely. While it makes it look like a summer day, to me it also gives a kind of creepy vibe to it almost as if she is pretending that everything is okay when in reality it might not be. This is compounded because the birds have no facial features whatsoever.
I like the movement from the spirals in the sky and the line of the birds. In contrast, the chains on her swing are very stiff and don't seem to have any give - it doesn't look like it's in the middle of an upswing or on it's way back down at all. The perspective doesn't quite make sense to me either - she's in the air with all of these birds, yet we can see the top of the swing (where she's sitting on) and her lap, which indicates the viewer is higher than she is. If this were changed so that we saw the underside of the swing instead it would give us a sense of height, which would also help allude to the fact that she's swinging.
The anatomy is a bit off as well. Her legs don't really look like they're foreshortened, so the thighs look too short in comparison to the lower leg. Some more shading might help with that. The right leg (to us) is also higher on the swing yet that foot dangles below the left one so they look like they're different lengths.
I think you have great use of colour and movement. Keep at it!
Next on the tagline is Insomniatic-Ophelia , and your word is hypnotic.

Hey
I have never thought of it as something kind of creepy like you said, but it makes sense... yellow may represent the sun, but in my mind, it's also associated with vertigo and the suffocating feeling of sultriness... it makes a lot of sense, actually, this dreamy-creepy feeling. Wouldn't you agree that the stiffness of the chains may be related to this concept? I usually don't pay a lot of attention to these realistic details simply because I don't think that's necessary, if my goal is to show some magic universe or whatsoever. Try to think of your own interpretation: just imagine that she's dreaming with some enjoyable moment, feeling serene and nice, but there are details that reveal, to the viewer, that this isn't real - like the faceless birds or the fake sense of movement of the chains. Also, this yellow background, so bright it's even suffocating...
I'll take your advices about perspective and anatomy thought, I had never noticed that her legs are so unrealistic, one of them looking too long thanks for all your observations and compliments!

The spirals of yellow remind me of a circus drawing by a famous artist. Paul Signac?

I knew other artworks made by Signac, but not that one. He's one of the creators of pointilism, and can blend so many beautiful shades between two colors <3 I wish I could do that!
Thank you for the comment!
