Description I've been producing art really slowly in the last few months... this one was the first of 2016 and I don't consider it really good, but I like it. Made with watercolor pencils and an A4 cansom paper.

Yes, I've renamed it after an AIR song

Hello there! i apologize for the delay o: circumstances of life caused the delay
But i come here on behalf of to continue the tagline ^^
My given word was "Belong", and this is a tricky word since it can be applied to many different contexts, and i decided to use it in the sense of feeling at home, belonging somewhere, in a peaceful place.
And that is what i feel when i see this. Reminds you of a time after work is done, your assigments are no more and you finally have a time to breathe.
This simple design is well executed, with vibrant colours and cool interesting details that add to the whole picture.
I would say that overall this piece is really catchy, it asks for attention and brings a relaxing moment to the viewer, i would work a bit more with textures on the curtains or the telescope for example, since they seem to have a very similar texture even though they are made from different materials.
Watercolour pencils are very helpful in this case to add little details or go deeper into adding texture.
You can always practice on a different paper and see what different things you can do with them (Definitely one of my favourite materials to work with alongside pastels)
If you are unsure about how to investigate or experiment more you can always check out tutorials like this one :thumb132203324: ^^ pretty interesting to read.
Good job and hope to see more of your work in the future!
Now comes the part you must have been waiting for
Your tag word!
Your tag word will be "Joy" Please head to 's gallery to continue with the game!
Hope you are having a wonderful day and hope to see you soon

I think this drawing is really cute! The simplistic design makes it perfect for watercolor (I have made the mistake of trying to do a complex drawing with watercolor and expected it to not go all over the paper for some reason).

Just one thing that bothers me a little is how the rug is so complex in relation to the rest of the drawing. I feel that to really emphasize the starry background, I'd make it a little simpler such as just a round rug. But that's just me, so you do whatever you want ^^

Whoa I just noticed that her hair is wrapping around a lamp 0-0 Looks really cool!!!

Overall I think this watercolor painting is amazing. Keep up the good work!

This is quite a charming detailed watercolour. I love the way you've done the stars and I really like the way you did the details in the mat. I think the perspective on the mat is quite good! Your colours, technique and style is lovely.

Hello!
Oh my, I love the colors you used! They seem to complement each other in a great harmony, I love how the bright blue from her clothes makes you look directly to the girl, and then notice the beautiful sky, and only then everything else! It's a great composition you made!
I just think you could also show her hair on the left side of her head, like this it seems like it's kinda shaved (if that's the hairstyle you wanted, then I apologize and great job!). From the sky, I would also don't make the darker black, like it's around her head... it seems a bit like she is casting a shadow, but she shouldn't be doing that.
The sky is amazing, by the way!! This is really a great picture, you're really good at this!!! keep up with the awesome job!

Yasss she's supposed to have cornrows in the sides of her head and the big puffy afro on the top of it.

I understand what you said about the black shadow around her. As I was using watercolor freely on this part, splashing drops of water over the paper, I had to take care so the colored water wouldn't "invade" the part where I was using pencils - so, I outlined the figures with a black pencil, like you can see. That's how the black shadow appeared

Thanks for all your compliments! <3
