Gryphon + Fox + Centaur.For a trade with *blackminorscales : one of his friend's characters as a -taur.
Art created by combining the forces of eight hours, Easy Paint Tool SAI, and my hands.

great work on how you combine them with such a flow
it sure look like a one single being, but the color kind of cut it in half... since the color is just too strong on the body parts

I agree, it could be an interesting combination and mostly works quite well, but it kind of looks like a gryphon torso glued on a fox torso.
Actually, having done some breif research, (read: having searched DA for about a minute) I noticed that that's pretty much how centaurs are drawn.

In its general shape. There's not really any horse in it, but it does have an animal-like lower body and a humanoid upper body.

I can understand why, but I see no lion in it either, and thats half of a gryphon, so I get your concept, it just has many flaws...
