Description Another Walking Dead doll. This one is Carl with his 112 oz can of pudding.  (I put a 'C' for 'Carl' on the front of the can) His hat was the hardest part to make. I ended up making it about three or four times before I liked the result. I really like the result now, though!

He stands about 6 inches tall. Next on my list is Daryl Dixon!

You're welcome, I'm not in those types of shows (to much blood for me)

That's true...there is a lot of blood. Maybe it's hard to believe, but
I don't like shows with a lot of blood either. The Walking
Dead is the one exception.

Oh it's so cute! That episode was funny, sittin' on the roof eating a can of pudding like nobody's business. XD I like how you did it

Awwww he's so cute! I love how you did his hair and that he has knitted clothes and that he is holding...something.

Thank you!  His hair is actually fun fur
that I sewed on to a crocheted wig cap. I'm
planning on doing that when I make Daryl.
(If I can find the right color)

He's holding a 112 ounce can of pudding. In
the show he comes across it while looking
for supplies and ends up eating the whole
thing.  I thought it would be more fun to
make rather than another gun. I was right!

What a wonderful idea! It looks so interesting!

I think I have to check what that weight is in our gram/kilo, but I have the feeling that it is much. And you're right, it's much more interesting than a simply gun.

Thank you!

I'm not sure how many grams/kilos it weights,
but believe me, it is a LOT of pudding.

Over 3kilos. That is really a LOT of pudding for one man. Now I totally get the joke.

If you ever get the time, and you aren't afraid of
zombies, you should watch the Walking Dead.

The next half-season doesn't come out until this
fall (I think) and I miss it so bad. Although the
way they take breaks ever half season allows
me to calm down and prepare myself for the next
episode, and to re-watch the old episodes and
contemplate them.

I think I can handle some zombies on screen I'll give it a try as soon as it comes my way.

I hate it when I have to wait for the next season. I was really into grey's Anatomy and then...cut...waiting half a year for the next season.

I go to my mother's house to watch the Walking Dead with
her because she is terrified of zombies, but can't stop watching
the Walking Dead. I have to hold her hand for the whole episode.

That's to cute! I can't watch horror films. Zombies are part of that genre too but I'm not that much afraid of them. I don't know why ^^

I'm not really afraid of horror shows, or zombies, or anything like
that. My brother isn't either, but Mom is terrified of all of those
things. It's not like I'm used to scary things either. Mom was
really protective over the things I was allowed to watch when I
was younger.

My mom also was very strict when it came to what I was allowed to watch or what not. There was a show I really liked on TV back then. It was called The Crow and was not allowed for teenagers under 16. But I loved it and was allowed to watch it when I was way younger at my grandparents.
But my fear of some horror shows...I don't know where it comes from. If I were to guess I would say it comes from me having to sleep in the dark as a child. I hate sleeping when it's really dark. I never close the blends when I go to sleep and I love the street lantern in front of my bedroom window. I even have a solor lamp in my room

My brother was allowed to watch those things, I guess
because he was a few years older than me. He used to
watch the Crow and loved it!My brother wasn't 16
when he watched it either. I've never seen it, though.

I've always had a night light in my room. Even now I have
a clock that glows and lights up my whole room. I love
that clock because it like a night light for an adult.
I live out towards the country so there aren't any street
lights by my house. Although, my dog it afraid of the dark,
too. In the middle of the night he will be running around the
house barking. It sometimes freaks me out...

Yuki87 In reply to SJFan97 [2014-06-28 17:40:48 +0000 UTC]

Oh, a clock like that would totally be something I would by for myself too. I once bought an alarm clock that lighted up, when the time for the alarm came. It was such a nice thing. But the sound box was broken. But the light still works. When it was too dark I could light it up but veeeery low and it turned itself down after 59minutes.

Philou luckily wasn't afraid of the dark but he sometimes barked at night and that really was scary. Because when he barked mostly something was wrong. Once we found footprints (large men shoe size) on our ground and they weren't from us. *shiver*

That's cool. I've seen clocks like that, or at least lights like that.
They seem so cool!

Wow! That's freaky!    I'm glad nothing bad happened!

Yuki87 In reply to SJFan97 [2014-07-03 10:42:21 +0000 UTC]

They totally are cool. But the good ones are pretty pricey.

That was frightening. They tried to break in here many years ago, destroyed the windows but didn't got in because Philou was barking too loud.

SJFan97 In reply to Yuki87 [2014-07-07 18:33:03 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that's probably true. I've always wanted one of those "dream lights"
They have some at one of the local stores, but I can't justify paying $30
for a night light...

It's a good thing Philou was so big! If Pupu or Pip were the ones barking
the person would probably just laugh.

Yuki87 In reply to SJFan97 [2014-07-12 10:13:52 +0000 UTC]

What are these Dream Lights? Somehow a picture of a lamp that 'paints' stars and a moon on the ceiling pops up in my head. I saw one of those and the price was nearly the same so I didn't bought one.

When Philou was barking and you didn't saw him you probably would have imagined a big darkbrown/black dog with long fangs. His barking was so loud and strong, that it was scary. He even used to howl, and that sounded amazing! Every time the doorbell rang or the telephone he howled.

SJFan97 In reply to Yuki87 [2014-07-16 16:40:54 +0000 UTC]

That what it does, but the ones I've seen are like pillows in the
shape of animals. www.dreamlites.com/Default.asp…

My grandma has a Dachshund that sound really vicious when he
barks. It's funny because he is only about as tall as Pupu, but
his barks is like a German Shepard's. When they first got him,
he was barking in the back yard and I thought for sure that they
had a German Shepard back there! Now, he is old, lazy,
and a sweetheart.

He would bark at the telephone? That's funny. I wonder why?

We have coyotes around my house, so some night during the summer
they will be running around making scary noises.    When I first got
Pupu he wasn't trained to stay in the yard, so every night I would take
him outside on a leash before bed. One night the coyotes were out. They heard us
outside and started running after us. Pupu and I  barely made it into the house.
Then the coyotes stayed outside of my door howling for almost a
whole hour! It was so scary that I turned all of the lights out and held
Pupu in the dark.

Yuki87 In reply to SJFan97 [2014-07-20 11:02:15 +0000 UTC]

Yes! That are the Dream Light we have here too. Maybe not the same brand or shape but the general idea of plush animals with LEDs inside. Awww you really make me want to get one too!

Aw that's cute! But a Dachshund, my Dad had one as a young man, was and is a hound dog after all. Even though you don't expect it when you see these cuties. Talking about dogs, I really like German Shepards as much as small and cute dogs. But in the end no matter what kind of dog it is, if it looks at me and wants me as their owner, I would take it home with me.

Oh my...I would be scared to death if I would get haunted by coyotes! I would have totally done the same. Turn out the light and hold on Pupu. What a shocking event.
I had a similar experience when I went out with Philou through the forest one summer around 9pm. It was not really dark but when we came back it was. But we still had to cross the little forest. I haven't thought about that before. T_T We went in and suddenly I saw two yellow points in the dark. I couldn't move but thought, as long as Philou stays calm everything is all right. Then he barked and went all crazy. The points I saw were glow worm :faints: but I was so nervous I thought it was some big animal. I never run that quickly with Philou every again.

They look so cute I can't even tell you how many times
I have gone past them at a store and debated on getting one
or not.

I agree. I started out wanting a smaller dog, but I would be
happy with having big or small, boy or girl. It's amazing how
quickly my dogs have grown attached to me, too. I've had Pupu
for about six years now, but I've only had Pip since about May,
and it's already like she's always been here. I was so
blessed to get two wonderful dogs.

A few days ago there were coyotes out by our house all night.
Pupu sat at the edge of my bed so he could look out the window.
I don't think he got any sleep! Pip on the other hand, she got enough
sleep for both of them.

I think I would do the same thing! I'm pretty jumpy at night, and
every little thing makes me worry. Even when I'm safe inside my
house. Sometimes it worries me when Pupu barks because
then I think that everything would know I was there. There's
no way Pupu or I would be able to defend ourselves. I'm glad
it was just glow worms, though!

Oh I know this going back to the store and looking at the item and thinking of getting it or not. It also happens with online stores to me! Then I wait for a sale, check voucher sites, compare prices and...it's horrible

For me it was not wanting a dog at all. When we moved here to this house my grandpa passed away and my grandma got ill, both psychic and physic. My mom cared for her and had no time at all but bought the dog. I liked him, but still didn't wanted him. But he wanted me to be his friend. So it was more like he picked me and I'm so grateful he did and tried everything to make friends with me.
I imagine having a smaller or even tiny dog must be cool too since you can do other things with them. But as long as the dog likes me, I totally don't mind anything else.

That reminds me of another horror story about being safe and inside. It was night and we had a thunderstorm. Normal lightnings, normal thunder. Everything okay. But then there was a terrible loud sounds, something breaks and some people were screaming. Suddenly my room my was lit orange! I thought the lightning hit our house and there was fire.
But it was 'only' a lightning hitting a tree outside and the high voltage got into the ground and there was a tiny black out. The power came back and my alarm clock glows orange when being shut down and turned on again. But I didn't know that. Since that time I'm a little afraid of thunders.
