Looking at this picture almost makes me feel depressed myself in the sense of this image portraying a melancholy feeling. I think that emotion was captured very well and it makes you think of why the dog it like it. Is he ill? Is he in pain? Did he lose something or did he not get his way? What I find attractive is that it makes you think when you look at it. The sharpness is certainly there and it's worth the view to say the least. The shades mix in well because it corresponds with the feeling of the deviation.

Feelings are clearly very well captured. Yes! What is he or she thinking??? Bored, worried or just contemplating life as it is. Background well suited for the look. Nice capture.

The emotion conveyed is very melancholy, and the nature of the shot itself enforces this. It's equally a very beautiful and a very sad photograph.

its a beautiful dog and a completly lovely picture. But the dog looks closer to a mix of sheperds. And other medium to large dogs.

The most captivating part of this picture is the eyes. It was socrates who best described that the eyes for the most part are the window to the soul, truly for an old dog it is in his eyes that have seen a lot. Its always facinating the more I look at this picture, its almost surreal the facial expression.

I know what you mean, my girl looked old when she was about 3, but now she's 11 she acts like a puppy.... I think she ages the wrong way XD

i was going to critique but dont have a premium membership so i will just say here, that this is a stunning and gorgeous shot. and i just love the fade to black in the corner. it seems to add wieght to the image. icant tell if this is a once in a lifetime shot or simply your talent with a camera but this picture is amazing!

I agree. This picture actually kind of makes me fell a tad bit depressed on the inside. At one time it's actually a very cute picture, but at another time it's very sad. Either way though this is a brilliant picture Skia! Absolutely phenomenal!
