Ah yeah, had to flip it before posting it here. I hate it when I forge it! And when it's posted on tumblr and people start reblogging it, it's too late to correct as it wont update every reblog as far as I know. But at least I could get it right here Flipping the drawing while drawing is good way to check for mistakes and see it in a "new" perspective, which is why I keep flipping them all the time, then I forgot to check Squall's scar in the end SO annoying that I keep doing this lol.

Anyway, I read about the dog you helped! Thank you for that!! Seriously, animals are such an important part of my life and people who go out of their way to help them has my highest respect! Maybe your story was the inspiration for this and I was subconsciously channeling some Luna Manar when drawing this I don't really know why I want to draw Angelo, but I really wanted to haha. The first sketch I did was Squall kneeling down to hug Angelo but it evolved into this.
Dogs, and cats for that matter, are great at taking up all the bed though! My old cat was tiny and yet she managed to take over the whole bed easily. But they are cute though, so it's alright

Oh man, my husband does the same thing, and remembering to flip things like scars and tattoos always gets him, too! Such a pain, especially when it's a commission. I like how this one turned out, though. 

Yeah, we're completely unapologetic animal lovers, and we've always lived in areas that get a fair number of strays and abandonments, so we always do what we can to help. Sometimes we can't...we can't handle very large dogs (we're both short people), or wild animals (it's illegal to keep the latter without a license, which we don't have). But as long as we have space, we'll temporarily care for everything from hamsters to cats to snakes to dogs to goats and chickens (though we try not to take birds if we don't have to, because we have cats and a lot of bacteria cats tend to carry is very dangerous for birds). We even "re-homed" a beehive, once, hahaha! It set up camp in our back yard; the neighbors were scared their kids would be stung, but rather than have it exterminated we found some people who kept beehives for the honey and they were happy to add a new one to their farm!

We actually haven't had a foster in over a year, so we were about due, it seems. But yeah, completely with you, animals are just such a big part of my life, I dunno what I'd do if I didn't have at least one companion stealing 95% of my bed, hahaha. I remember being SO EXCITED when I first played FFVIII and saw Rinoa had a dog that followed her everywhere...and then kind of disappointed we only ever saw Angelo sometimes! Wish she wandered around on screen whenever Rinoa's in your party. But at least she's in there!
