I'm a little late to this, but I really like this design. It's an excellent "dark Rinoa" design. Are the straps supposed to be reminiscent of Julia's, by the way?

You always have such a good eye for details! They are indeed inspired by Julia and also Rinoa's balldress. I wanted her outfit/dress to be a mix of a lot of things important to Rinoa, but not sure it worked out aswell as I wanted. Julia's dress have another set of straps and so did this dress but they're hidden because of the jacket. Maybe I will make another outfit for sorceress Rinoa sometime, it was really fun to draw

I was thinking the other day that I really wanted to see Rinoa with owl wings--because Forest Owls, and all--specifically snowy owl wings (seems appropriate). I like the idea that as she gets older, she starts to develop some black feathers--scary!--but instead of becoming all black like Ultimecia's, they turn into this beautiful pattern. So it's kind of like her going from being young and naive to more grown up and refined, although it seems at first like she might be turning eeeeevil, hahaha.

Oh I love the snowy owl wings idea! I would freak out if I were Rinoa and some feathers started turning black haha, but I think snowt owl wings would fit her perfectly (aslo because of Timber Owls). I also don't think Rinoa is 100% innocent and good. Mostly good sure, but she has some dark sides. So I like the idea of wings that aren't pure white!

I have a sort of comic idea for the snowy owl thing, maybe I'll type it up at some point! And yeah Rinoa certainly has her darker sides, not even necessarily evil but not typically "good," either. Lots of anger pent up from her conflicts with Caraway, among other things...
