Say hi to my forever-project.

What started as a random bird sketch turned out to be quite a piece of work. I haven't done anything else in a while.
I wanted to mix some different styles: my regular lineart + color, textures and stylized patterns. On the other hand aiming for realism and on the other going the exact opposite way. That's kind of what I've been doing all along.

I counted the feathers by the way: 673. Over six hundred feathers sketched, lined and colored. :'D I'm crazy.

I hope it's worth your long wait!

Ps. This uploaded version is 35% of the original and shrinking the picture really cut the quality as well. :S It's decent enough but the lineart got kind of messy.
(too tired to think of good titles so I might change it later)
