Description Ahriman is my absolute favourite character in the Warhammer 40k universe so far. I love his story, and his character model is pretty damn sweet too. I wasn't originally planning to draw anyone but Ahriman in this, but decided on the spur of the moment to add something of a background and a couple of buddies. They have cool helmets. XD

Not really as complete as I'd like, mostly regarding line weights and shading and such, but eh. Will hopefully colour this at some point to finish it up properly! Eventually. Maybe.

... and it's awesome how you were able to convey a "I'm gonna kick your ass" sort of feel from Ahriman and the Rubrics despite them being expressionless due to thier helmets. Kudos!

Hehe, I'm kinda surprised I got into 40k as well, but Dawn of War at least is just another RTS, and I grew up on the Command & Conquer series, so maybe not so surprising. XD And I really enjoy the model painting and tabletop playing. Also just finished all the Dawn of War 2 games as well, those were fun too.

And yes, A Thousand Sons is what made Ahriman and the Sons my favourite army. XD I also read Prospero Burns recently too. Man, the Sons got screwed over by everybody.

Ahh, yeah, I keep forgetting that so many people got into 40k through Dawn of War... In the UK it's usually the case that you're a big nerd and thought that your local GW store looked like a fun place to go into. I've been into GW stuff since I was like, 9.... and now I work there >_>; Hmm.

I actually want to do a Pre-Heresy Thousand Sons army using the new Grey Knight codex. It looks pretty much perfect, rules-wise. And yes, as someone who's never been the biggest fan of the SWolves, I feel much pity for Magnus and co. :/

Hehe, actually, I got into 40k through painting Dingo's models and eventually playing with them. I only got into the DoW games after I'd started playing tabletop. XD The DoW2 games were pretty awesome.

And I never thought of doing a pre-heresy Sons army with the new Grey Knights codex. You'll have to let me know how that goes if you do it!

Magnus himself kind of annoys me, honestly. XD Ahriman is my favourite. <3 And yeah, much pity for the rest of the Sons, the poor buggers.

Ahh, I see. I have DoW2, but have yet to play it... DoW plus expansions is the awesome, however.

I have a big thing for Pre-heresy stuff but have never done anything big and serious with it... I have a few Fallen/Pre-H Dark Angels, but that's about it. Unfortunately, I know I'm not the only one to have the Pre-H Thousand Sons idea....
