Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental
hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the
staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so
they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the
machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.
Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on
a Monday night at 12:00 a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you
and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other pictures on this one site, and
she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if you copy and paste
this to ten comments in the next ten minutes you will have the best day of your life tomorrow.You
will either get kissed or asked out, if you break this chain u will see a little dead girl in your room

This makes me feel so bad, because he not only says this before the battle in Genocide, but afterwards (sorta) too. He was giving sympathy to a person he believed in, and that person murdered him. He said he still believed in you just before he died. That made me cry, really.

Oh I know, that particular moment in the genocide route made me so sad as well. Honestly, Papyrus is the only thing keeping me from doing a genocide play through. There is just something about killing off kind, "comic relief" characters that breaks my heart - especially one as innocent and sweet as him.
Gahh, Papyrus, why do you have to be so perfect and genuine???

Oh, I felt the same way. I couldn't play for a while after that because I got so sad. With Papyrus being my favorite character, I cried. I loved him so much, he was so quirky and adorable. Killing innocent comic relief characters feels horrible. I couldn't live with myself. Papyrus is so sweet and fabulous, why did he have to die?! And it was all because of me! D:

Papyrus is easily my favorite character as well, so it makes it even more difficult for me to even consider the genocide run! Gah! But I guess from a video game design/morality standpoint, his death really puts a lot of weight on the player. Undertale is so good at making the characters extremely likable, and it makes their deaths even more hurtful!
But I just can't kill him. Can't do it.

After I killed Papyrus, I stopped playing Genocide Run. his last words say that he still believes in you, even though you just killed him... he's such a sweet heart. He's so innocent and kind that he forgives what you do to him. Killing Papyrus made me have breakdown. No game has ever made me cry like that (except Mother 3, that shit is sad) Papyrus, you adorable lump of spaghetti-lovin' bones, why were you being so nice to me...?
