Oh, the expressions are just wonderful! I have read the comic as well, and I must say this frame was one of my favorites. It sums up so much. Cevenor looks so displeased and despondent, as if he knew this would happen, while Cicero is so very eager and excited. It's almost like he is meaning to play peekaboo behind Cevernor's shoulder. It certainly looks like it. Very fun drawing!
