I usually use premo brand polymer clay now though I think I used puppen fimo for her.

Sorry if I sound kind of ignorant.... in fact Im in the sense of what material you use to create the body... here in Venezuela I cant find none to teach me how to make figures.... eve from the basic of the material to be used... Im a Lover of 1/6 figures but bodies are so STIF (hard) that I wold love to start create my Own individuals.... I posible let me know where can I learn a bit on material an tecniques.... I find your work and talent remarkable.... Wish practice can lead me to a 20% of your talent..... Hope yu can help me..... Thanks!! regard from Venezuela

it almost looks as though you made the wings using solder, but i imagine you melted the metallic fabric. (It's a wonderful method however it was done.)

Its hard to track my growth though. it fluctuates. Sometimes I look back at very early peices and wonder at what I did and sometimes later peices I cringe to look at how bad they are.
After I began doing personal risky work my style emerged stronger and I think the work was more deep.
Not to say I didnt make some neat things before. Ive just found more of my voice these days.

Thanks. Theyre made of a cellophane wrapping paper. Its called fantasy film sometimes. Wire veins are glued on then the whole wing is airbrushed for that speckled pattern. That takes some of the plastic look away.

Yeah the proportions in this one are alot more natural. I think I used photo ref for the pose.
