As you mentioned the intense lighting test, with the hard shadows, you can see that the dress is fairly low poly. Β It has resulted in some blockish lines in the shadows along the shading termination line, particularly on the front left hip area. Β PBRs like Iray and LuxRender are a lot more sensitive to this than 3Delight. Β I usually add a couple levels of subdivision to everything, especially under hard light. Β Studio makes this super easy, with the 'Convert to SubD' option. Β (I render everything with LuxRender, FWIW.)
The hair looks like it would benefit from some subd, too. Β Not so much due to hard light on it, but the visible kinks due to being low poly in the long tail.
The girl is beautiful, though!

Thank you very (very!) much for the suggestions.Β I did a quick re-render with the dress and immediately saw what you mentioned. I am working on another image to leverage that (and keep it in mind for the future!)
