Huzzah, yet another Mais drawing!!God will someone stop me??
And here, we see Kariki taking two mais out in the night, why?
To show them what the dangers are if they go out at night of course!!
WHY would he do that??
Cause they could be his future apprentices in treasure hunting and village foraging!!
Yes he is a bit of a solitary bugger, but if a Mais is persistent enough and Kariki takes a liking to there personality, he'll let them hang with him, as long as they listen to his orders, he knows what lurks in the corners :3
So pretty much Kariki has already planned to have an apprentice, Izzie to be specific, but a little Virva was curious as to what these two really DO, so to be nice, Kariki went easy on her and let her join a short little journ to a very pretty watering hole, but along the way there were a fewwwwww noises that Kariki didn't like, so he just dove into some mud and covered himself and told Izzie to keep is guard up.
Virva on the other hand, was looking at all the shooting stars going by
They made it there! :3

If Pearl finds out, she's gonna be sooo mad that they went on a cool adventure without her. xD Of course Pearl's mother, Night, appreciates that Pearl wasn't whisked away for a trek through a dangerous area at nighttime. xD

If anything, Kariki would ask Night if she could go and when her bedtime is so he can get her home in time and safely, wouldn't want an adorable baby to get hurt out in dem wildernesses XD

Night would probably be perfectly fine with that, and prefer it too, since she wants her darling to be safe. Thing is, Pearl has acquired a taste for danger. xD But since Pearl likes any type of adventure, she'll be happy as long as she doesn't find out there was a grown-up adventure taking place at night in a more dangerous and cool part of the pond.

Only on special nights will he let Pearl go with him, most expeditions will be in the day for her safety, but he'll let her see the friendly giant animals that hes seen like squirrels and deer :3
And if she digs up any treasure, he'll let her keep it if its not too big for your guys home

He's only gonna do safe stuff with her til she gets older and can do more things, and eventually let her come along with he and Izzie on the more dangerous expeditions :3

This looks awesome, I love the perspective! Hehe, if they ever go on a longer expedition I imagine that Virva would start complaining about being hungry or tired or that her feet hurt xD
