My ma with her first dog, Bosman. In the mid-70s. In Poland at that time it was kind of a law that dogs had to wear muzzles when out in the streets. And anyway, she says he bit a lot.Related content

There is something very storybook abou this image. I really like it.

this is a cool shot, but once again, the thing with the thirds. You don't want your subject drifting between 1/2 and 1/3. its either 1/2 or 1/3, else the shot looks messy. When you're cropping pictures, you might think about: is the focus on the dog or the human? if its on the dog its okay to crop out a bit of the human so its more evident that the focus is on the dog. get my drift? If its both, you should leave less background and have the picture a bit closer up. I think a tighter picture emphasizes the relationship between man and animal more, but i'm not positive.

It's a pretty old picture then... ^_^ I think this picture has a very nice, natural feel to it, unlike many "too-detailed" and photomanipulated pictures today. Great pic!
