Amon: oh I wont take your magic miss sparkle, you see if I do you'll just become a martyr for ponies all over equestria to rally behind. No, taking your magic now would bring the unprepared attention of princess celestia. Ill just save you for last, for i have plans for you miss sparkle, and know that I will destroy you.
Amon then hits a point on twilights neck causing her to pass out. While unconscious twilight has visions of ponies she has not meet, but look familiar to her. As twilight regains consciousness she sees shining armor approching.
Shining armor: twilight!? Are you alright
Twilight: I gues so.
Shining armor: was Amon here?
Twilight: yes, him and his guards ambushed me.
Shining armor: did he... Did he take your magic?
Twilight: (levitating a few rocks) no.
Shining armor: oh, good.
Twilight: (tears coming to her eyes) I was so scared and helpless I didn't know what to do.
Shining armor: (hugging twilight) it's alright twilight. It's ok to be afraid.

I guess the ending of "voice in the night" could have been seen as sad,
Or I could have been the defining point of what korra was feeling from the resent events. The thing that I felt the episode was trying to tell was through the whole episode korra was afraid but not wanting to admit it, yet it's when we admit we are afraid we can find the courage to overcome our fears.

Interesting notion. I've noticed a lot of my favorite stories involve conflict between those with special abilities and those without. (Harry Potter, Legend of Korra, MLP [at least in Hearth Warming's Eve], etc.)

Mind you, I don't watch "Friendship is Magic", so when I read the word "Twilight", I immediately think of Bella and Edward and Jacob and sparkling vampires and shirtless Native Amrican werewolves and the forests of Forks in Washington.
