The version of Captain Marvel you drew Ferb as is a DC character.

Why is a DC character called “Captain Marvel”? Well it’s a funny story:

See in 1939 Fawcett Comics introduced the character (in 1939 Marvel was known as “Timely Comics” so it wasn’t odd a company other then ‘Marvel Comics’ owned a hero called ‘Captain Marvel’) he was a HUGE success, so much so DC sued them because Captain Marvel was out selling Superman and they felt he was too similar to Superman, DC won and in 1953 Fawcett was forced to stop publication of it’s Captain Marvel books, soon after the company closed up since without Captain Marvel Fawcett had nothing to sell.

Sometime in the 60’s Marvel Comics (no longer going by “Timely Comics”) realized the name “Captain Marvel” was no longer in use so in 1968 they introduced their own character unrelated to Fawcett’s known as 'Captain Marvel'.

Where does DC play into this? Well after crushing Fawcett in court DC bought out their character catalog including the original Captain Marvel, in 1972 DC re-introduced Fawcett’s Captain Marvel as a DC character... the catch being Marvel Comics now owned rights to title “Captain Marvel” so DC must legally refer to their Captain Marvel books as “Shazam!” (and in fact many people believe the Big Red Cheese’s name is “Shazam!” because of it) and because DC has an active interest in promoting their Captain Marvel, Marvel Comics is now legally obligated to have a comic called “Captain Marvel” produced every few years or they will loose rights to the name and DC will be to reclaim it.

.... so the long of the short of it is Ferb is dressed like a Fawcett Character (now owned by DC) not a Marvel character, this is the Marvel Captain Marvel: [link] (Marvel_Comics) although if you were to redraw this, maybe Ferb could be Captain Britain or Union Jack, he’s VERY British after all.

Boy, you make one alittle mistake and people jump on you. I though he was a marvel character because of the law suit. Marvel back then was Timely so that why I guessed he was a Maverl characters.

if it makes you feel better, Captain Marvel does suit Ferb very well, maybe you could draw Phineas as Cap Jr and Isabelle as Mary Marvel to match him and Ferb as a different Marvel hero and it’d be wins all around.

I said original. And that makes no sense, Captain MARVEL belonging to DC.

Yeah, turns out that both DC and Marvel have a Captain Marvel. You just used the DC version that has been in the following:
Justice league Unlimited
Batman and Superman Public Enemies
His own movie where he stared with Superman and took on Black Adam
Batman the Brave and the Bold.

Well, all I know is that you drew the DC version of him. Wikipediaitize it to make sure.

Yeah, you'll just either have to live with this, or redo it with Ferb as Marvel version. Or, might I recommend him as Iron Man?

I was thinking that. But it would look more Avengers then Marvel in general.

Ah, well, I don't think Spider Woman was an Avenger. Or, you could do an X-man one with Phineas as Cyclops, Ferb as Wolverine, and Isabella as Jean Grey/Pheonix.
