Yes this is very different to the work I've submitted previously. and in fact none of the images i used in this manipulation were even taken by me. sooo it's not really photography no.it is however kinda funny, really lame and artistically shallow but i guess that is what the online community is after. Hell don't get me wrong if i didn't like it i wouldn't be submitting it. It's just not on the same artistic level as the really good art on here.
Why am i saying this? 'Cos i know if i don't one of my many critiques will. So HA! beat you to it.
Hmm while I'm at it i might fill in some of the blanks for other comments I'll get for it.

artistically shallow? don't think so. to put different pictures together is a other kind of art. not less artisticall then taking pictures.
to find the right pictures, to put them together in the right way, to consider little details (like the reflection of the tongue),...
it's not perfect, but it looks good.

Thanks very much. By artistically shallow i didn't mean all Photomanips were. i just thought this image had little depth to it and was only amusing on a humorous level. Really appreciate the comment.
I have to hand in this image for an assignment next week and my lecturer is a Nazi. if you could elaborate on what you mean by "not perfect" it might help me improve the image which would be appreciated.

i don't have experience with reflections, but i think the angle of the cats head is the same in real and in the reflection. better don't trust me there, cause i really have no idea how it should look like.
and the light reflection in the bulb looks a little unnatural.
btw: is something perfect? always depends on the viewer. the pic looks very good!

Well By saying it's artistically shallow I'm not saying it's not a good piece of art. I'm just saying it lacks the depth and emotive effect of some art. It is however interesting on a humorous level which makes it fun to look at.

Seriously, that's a fantastic job of manipulating. Irrespective of how artistic it may or may not be, it's an engaging piece, which is what drew me to it. I could almost actually see this being used in an ad somehow. Not quite sure for what product or service exactly but it just has that feel about it. Very cool, Mike...
