Loooookout! It's a magical girl!! Complete with magic wand and silly magical girl pose! xDI was going through my folders a while back and noticed this. It looked so sad, this incomplete magical girl. ;_; So I went ahead and finished it. ^^
Actually pretty happy with the way it turned out. The background is really pretty, but maybe I went a little to brush crazy? xD Hmmmm...!
Backstory time!!:
So this is Peridot, who is always being called Dot (Such an old lady name!!). Dot was born with silver hair, and ever since she was a little girl, she's been made fun of, being called an old lady. Now older, she has absolutely no confidence. What she soon realises though is that her silver hair was because she was touched by a fairy, who imbued her with magic powers! And her power is the power to give confidence to others, because that's the only way to destroy our personal demons. Shame she can't use it on herself. xD
Her hair's supposed to be more silvery, but I shaded it pinky purple so I'd blend in with the background more. C:

For an older pic this is pretty great! You really have a knack for color co-ordinations (which I definitely don't, but Guky'll teach me! >3<; )! XD The lineart looks awesome too, movements are considered, clothes are well rendered too, and I'm liking the background! Great job, dude!!!

Really!? xD Oh gee, thank you!! I'm really happy to hear that! And I just really love the colour green, and pairing it up with other colours is a lot of fun! XD If you want to make your colouring look more impressive, colour it as you usually would, and then put a gradient on top and lower the opacity. It's pretty simple, but it's a pretty cool effect!! xD
