Calling dimetrodon a lizard is like calling a dog an iguana. It wasn't even a reptile.

Well, none of them is a lizard, especially not Dimetrodon.

Well, true. They're Dinosaurs. A common misconception on my part.
But there's really no need to be nit-picky, is there?

Dimetrodon also isn't a Dinosaur, but a Synapsid, therefore closer related to us than to Dinosaurs.
