I'll admit Poison isn't really my favorite type, mostly because there are very few poison Pokemon that I like design-wise. Skuntank, however, is sort of an exception. It was either this one or something from the Nidoran lines, but I went with Skuntank because... it's fluffier.

Skuntank is probably one of the most unloved Pokemon in the series, mostly because of its roles within the games. In Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, it was one of Team Galactic's main Pokemon and one of the hardest to beat, and in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2, he was an evil con artist that acted as your main rival. Needless to say, Skuntank doesn't have a very good reputation.

However, Skuntank are actually pretty useful in battle. They're pretty fast, their strength is decent, and Stench finally became useful now that it occasionally causes slower opponents to flinch. And lastly, I don't know about you guys, but I really enjoy drawing Skuntank. It's just... so fluffy... I suppose the very first instance of me liking Skuntank was way back when I started playing SoulSilver for the first time, and later in the game I decided to train a Skuntank. Its field sprite looked cuter than I expected, for some odd reason. Kind of like a cat, maybe... I don't know, it's just another one of those kinds of Pokemon that's really hard to explain why it's one of my favorites. Eh...
