According to Silas, Lambert was born in Glenmark before the Glennish War took place around 15 years ago. He moved away to Tabira after having a falling out with his parents (Lambert never explained why, Silas says), and the moment he arrived in Tabira, he bumped into Persephone. One could say it was love at first sight, as he was determined and persistent to win Persephone's love and acceptance. After many trials and tribulations, his adamant nature eventually softened Persephone's cold shoulder, and she decided to give him a chance. After about a year of being together, the two were wed and had one child, Penelope.

But before their new life as a family could begin, the Glennish War started. Lambert was given a drafting notice, but before he headed off to fight for the Glennish forces against his will, he urged Persephone to take their child and run as far away from the fighting as they could. He left his final will for Persephone's family alone to read before he was drafted. The war soon took his life afterwards.

Persephone was a hardy and strong-willed individual, who grew up in Tabira with her brother Silas (she was born first, so she's the older sibling by about half a minute). She grew up in a peaceful environment, but around the time she grew old enough to leave home and find her own purpose in life, she accidentally bumped into Lambert. At first, she had no interest in having a romantic partner, but after much persistence on Lambert's part, she decided to give him a chance because she thought he was a nice guy whom she really didn't want to see heartbroken. After about a year of being together, the two were wed and had one child, Penelope.

But before their new life as a family could begin, the Glennish War started. Lambert was given a drafting notice, but before he headed off to fight for the Glennish forces against his will, he urged Persephone to take their child and run as far away from the fighting as they could. Persephone did as she was told, taking their child Penelope with her and fled to the mountains of Glory's Peak. She was never seen or heard from again.
