Description In case anyone was wondering what I was wasting one week doing, this is it.

My Dark Elf Battle standard Bearer....
in non-metallic metal
with a shadow-dragon banner? ah who care it's probably not a magic banner anyway.

Painted for a competition by my local GW today....
Though for some odd reason only 3 participants. Go check out the GW's facebook site. (Melbourne Games Workshop) to track the progress of the competition to see if I win anything or I'm epic failure



Yeah, someday I may try to retake the picture so it shows better. but that's it.



Total time taken in excess of 32 hours. Yesterday night I spent a straight out 11 hours painting it, finishing at 10am today.


Well, I AM EPIC!!!! hahahahaha managing to finish this and spend super long time at it.



Now time to return to my usual nonsense... and get some sleep



Yeah, Most of you probably won't care much bout it, but I don't care. As long as I feel good about it, I would.... I may submit to Golden daemon this year if I don't know what to do.

Interesting how it's getting a lot less attention than a sketch I draw in a few minutes.... lol.

I don't care I do what I like.

Lookit all the little details! I like the layering on the Cold One's scales, the fantastic detailing on the armour plate and the subtle skin tones on the face.

also I am making my first buggy out of a deffkopta. Did you know you can make all the little suspension systems and shocks n stuff out of plasticard tubing? I just found that out. All of sunday, gone.

You must have the patience of a saint in order to finish this. I couldn't imagine spending over 32 hours meticulously doing detail.

The results speak for themselves though. It looks fantastic!

thanks good to know it actually turns out. though I do need to work on my photography skill as the camera did screw up the shine. (damn auto brightness)
