Well, you know me, I'd be obliged to draw my team for pokemon Black.
every generation shift at least. Anyway, don't ask me why most of my team is made of girls. Luck I guess, that the first ones that I catch that I feel like using (i.e. right ability too) so happen to be gals. cept Sandie.
Yes, my starter was a female. how odd.
And this is the most number of characters I'd drawn together for a while..... standard shading style though cause wanted to finish fast.

Brief history of each
As per tradition, I'd always use my starter in the Elite 4
it's fitting. So that's why for the first time I used a grass type. Blizzie was the first pokemon that I caught that I started to train seriously and stuck as a thunder-wave causer.
Vicie was from liberty island, and that special event ticket was one of the reasons I got into Black to begin with, besides, Vicie brings Victory
Sandie was originally not used, till after a while of beating up crocs in the desert I started figuring out they were kind of cute. Also cause I needed a better dark type than leopard and I didn't have zoroark without trading.
Axyle was the first Axule that I ran into in the cave. So I thought... hey, a better false-swipe user than karrablast. so great! She stuck ever since.
Miko was the last of my base team. Was the first regenerating mienfoo I got with a decent personality (i.e. not timid... yeah go my luck... someday I may decide to train up a special attack one to abuse aura sphere.)
Shira well, she's a bit of a whimp considering Reshirams are supposed to be darn powerful. Miko can bring her down in one hit, and I should have suspected somethin was wrong when dragon breath couldn't even dent Vicie.... but anyway, not that I can't replay it, I'd do what any good trainer does and train her....

There's some pokemon that I'd used often in the game but never did make it to the final battle. They are:
Celes (Swanna female) --> Surf/fly user. was considering between her and Blizzie in the last fight.
Lilpup (male, no nickname) --> Pickup freebies
Personally I prefer the finishing of Soulsilver. the end part where they key in each of your team and introduce them is quite epic.

I remember my first starter (Snivy) was a female. I named her Twizzler XD Cuz I like Twizzlers!

I also chose snivy as my starter (his nickname is Vines). You got a female! No fair!
My team as of right now consists of: Serperior (Vines, male) Larvesta (no nickname); Carracosta (Tide); Druddigon (Targon); Vullaby (Zira)(going to evolve to mandizbuzz); and Mienfoo (no nickname)(working on evolution)

I have White version and the first time i completed the game I found it kind of pointless to have a electric or dragon type cause you get Zekrom who is both types(I had Zebstrika and Drudiggon).

samn here, i only knew someone for like a week with another game but i managed to rake up alot of points, but still i put the occasional pokemon on GT and thats a nice surprise to see if i get any shinys as a bonus (like the other dayy, put a random pokemon on for a deoxys, didn't expect anything but got a shiny one, was shocked) but, yeah Gt is another way to get them, but not the fun way
