Thank you for your words.

The hand is modeled after mine. My pinkies go off exactly like that. They're raised even when I'm typing

This is some how amazing, I mean starting from the colors to the go on with the simple structure of your image, I happen to believe that you have somehow explode your creativity to the fullest because until now this is one of my most favorite images from your gallery.

One of the things that probably I would have like to see more in the image would be lightning because you have a source of lightning to the up right I believe that's the lightning from the outside of the water that is coming in, well the fishes should be a little more lighted at the top and then start getting a little darker to the bottom, I mean that's the impression I get, but other wise this work really got me into it ^^

This image stopped me dead in my tracks as I was browsing the thumbs in my dev watch.

The Gold fish are beautifully rendered with a soft delicate feel to them. The way their fins transform into the body of the woman is mesmerizing. I find the exact location they merge with a bit odd, but the beauty of the connection can’t be denied.

The woman herself is gorgeous. The color choices while seemingly light, create a feeling of darkness and possession to me. Her eyes stand out the most in my mind. Truly this is the most disturbing detail. How the hair swirls with beautiful color and then seems to fade really seems to add to the feeling that she is drowning. I find myself having mixed feelings about the indistinct hand and legs. On one side they seem to make perfect sense in an abstract piece, but on the other I have a personal preference for detail.

Overall this picture just calls to me…

I'm very happy you enjoyed this piece my friend

In regards to the indistinct hand and legs you were referring to, I was actually attempting at a more tangible depth of field. Realistically-speaking they would in fact be slightly out of focus as such, probably even moreso in an underwater environment (which this might not even be, when abstraction comes into play).

In any case the detail is where it "logically" should be, given the overall dimness of atmosphere. It's as far as the foreshortening would go And it's interesting for me to explore further areas in terms of expressing with the human body, especially from these perspectives, where actual distance is conveyed.

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on my work!

Thanks for accepting my critique. Thank you for the explanation on the other limbs. That makes a great deal of sense, like in a photo... I had not thought of it that way. Sorry if it sounded bad at all. I was just trying to submitt both the positives and my percieved "negatives" which I really did not see any but it had caught my eye, which now that I think of it might have been part of the point. Anyways, while im here I just wanted to say that I really like some of your new pieces. They seem so dynamic .

It's definitely not a problem! And no it didn't sound bad at all, I just wanted to clarify my intentions Usually I don't have any, however I'm going in a whole new direction with my work as I never have before; for once I'm conscious of what I'm doing, and it's kind of refreshing

It means a great deal to me that you're taking the time to view my work <3

Even though this is simpler than your newest cutting edge work, I'm surprised it's not in the featured part of your dA gallery. It's classic.

So I'd really like to be able to say I can paint like that...but since I can't, I'll just admire the exquisite detail. And the goldfish.

I've never... NEVER tattooed before. I probably don't want to start thinking what would happen with that in my hands

well you can't just buy the gear and start, I had to apprentice for a year, (not to mention pay $10,000. take courses on first aid, skin anatomy and blood-borne pathogens.) I'm sure you will do amazing things in any medium you pursue.

I never thought that courses on First Aid would be involved however it does make total sense. I'm actually kind of interested... seems just so... authoritative. Like I'm playing with knives, but not in an asinine way...
