Description ...it never ends! Also, that sounds like the title to a horror movie. Hopefully my scribbles aren't that scary. XD Alright so, four per page seems like a good amount without making it too big. I think that's how I'll upload them moving forward. Some of these might be colored later but in the meantime...

Upper left:
Kit: What a view!
Karnage: "Positively marrvelous, yes?" *admiring own reflection*
Kit: *glances up* ... "I meant the sunset."

Typical conceited Karnage. XD I'm not too happy with the poses but man were the expressions fun! I think this one might go on my "to be colored" list.

Bottom left:
Aw, c'mon down Kit. The captain just wants to thank you for the lovely "remodeling" job you did on his room... I'm sure he only wants to give you a hug. A tight hug. Around the neck. Scene from "The Prince, the Pauper and the Pirate" fan fiction.

Upper right:
Well, that got emotional. I quite enjoyed this one. Sometime during "Plunder & Lightning", perhaps? After all that scarf did end up back with Don Karnage after Kit threw it away... the fact that he kept it always seemed meaningful to me. Hmm... and what happened to it after? As far as I'm concerned that question is answered in "Once a Pirate". That's canon in my eyes. XD Still, wish we could've read their inner thoughts during the events that unfolded in P&L.

Bottom right:
My stupid, weird attempt at Kit as a young adult - I'd say teenager but he's pretty tall here. He finally grew into that coat and I guess Karnage let him have it. How generous. Not like he has any spares or anything. How many closets full again? XD Kit also got some pants. Finally! Neither of them look very amused, I'm thinking someone in the crew is doing something stupid. Who gets to smack them this time?

1.  That's so funny!   What expressions! Kit's also probably wondering where the hell the captain pockets that mirror all day.  He better not look too annoyed or Karny might decided to enjoy the view alone, with a shove of his elbow.  Terrific scene!

2.  Alas, poor Kit, we hardly knew ye.  It's perfect!  And I'm once again thrilled to see an illustration based off a story.  I also noticed in the other pics, as a detail you do --- and forgive me for how odd this might sound --- ear momentum really well. Like in the sketches from the other day, when Karny is hanging from the rope ladder, and the one where he's angrily going nose to nose with Kit.  It such a small detail but enhances the sensation of movement and gravity.

3.  This one kicks in the feels, for both characters.  It reminds me of the instance from the first part of P&L, where Baloo asked Kit, "This tough-guy routine work on all yer friends?"  And that crushed look that suddenly bears down on Kit, as if he has just now realized the finality of going splitsville with Karnage, having truly now not a friends in the world: "I... don't have any friends."  The latest fic project I was working on was a backstory to P&L (like, the lengths Karny goes through to steal the stone and the events that made Kit turn on him), but one reason it stalled is that it's kind of depressing to think about.  I always thought Karny would initially miss having the boy around in his quiet, contemplative moments and be stung by his betrayal (like as I see this pic), but he's a survivor with an abundance of self-confidence and was able to move on from whatever fondness he had for his protege.  The red scarf just seems to have an element of destiny to it, doesn't it?  Kit flung it off several thousand feet in mid-air during a freefall, and it somehow got back to Karnage.  That's like some Lord of the Rings stuff, the scarf has a will of its own, to be reunited with his rightful protege!

4.  And speaking of the red scarf and destiny!   I could totally see this as a reaction watching the crew's antics (a roach race run amok?)  I also thought of them like they're inside the large cargo hold of a plane they just caught and are really not impressed at what they see.  "Sigh.  Fish bowls?  Again?"  I very much like your take on older Kit!  Perhaps oddly enough, I never pictured him older without pants (like the gray, rolled-up-at-the-ankle cargo pants he had in per-production images).

It might sound weird but the ears are usually what makes or breaks a sketch for me, I find them to be important in conveying emotion. I also think Karnage has some of the most expressive ears they way they flip flop around - one of my dogs has similar ears and it's the cutest thing in the world. XD

Ooh, a backstory to P&L would be very interesting. Seeing as Kit was with them for "about a year" it raises a lot of questions concerning what lead up to his ultimate decision to leave. Was it really that he just "got sick of 'em"? I always thought there was more to it than that. But yes, I can also see how it would be depressing too. I got a little sense of that in the alternate ending to OaP where Karnage was reading back through his diary and flipped to that page. The unwritten thoughts were perfect. And when he found the scarf again, crushing it with terrible anger... and yet, there it stayed. Truly fate.

Ah, yeah! Those pre-production pants were adorable on him. I wonder why they decided to go the pants-less route. Maybe to match Baloo in style? It's almost odd to see him wearing pants when you're so used to how he's usually dressed but at the same time I can't picture him grown up without them either.

Thank you again for your comments, I really appreciate them!
