Description I am having my own little version of Inktober where I deviate from the prompts and just draw a new car each day.

Part in me wanted to draw a Lada 2101, I also concidered drawing the Fiat 124 it was based on, or the lesser known Seat 124...
You know what, screw it, they are all based on the same basic Fiat 124 produced under license.

The Fiat 124 is probably the most license produced car in history, being produced in a number of nations across Europe and Asia ranging from Spain to Egypt, Turkey, Russia, India and South Korea.
and it derived a whole bunch of face-lifted and modified versions like the Lada Rivera and the SEAT 124 D the latter of which tooling was later sold to India to produce the Premier 118NE
If you disregard the different brands and looks at the spread of the Fiat 124 platform it becomes the third most sold automobile platform only surpassed by the Ford Model T and the VW beetle.

The most renowned and intensively produced example was the Russian VAZ or Ziguli better known under its export name Lada, This was also the most robust variant as extensive test driving on harsh Russian back roads broke the Fiat 124 test cars in several vital areas that was reinforced for the production Lada cars. Originally Lada was not allowed to export the car into Fiats western markets as long as the Fiat 124 was still in production by fiat, but following its discontinuation of the Fiat 124, Lada was free to export the car to the west where it outsold the soviets previous export cars such as ZAZ, GAZ and Moskvich.
The Lada was also the only version to feature an option to insert a hand crank starter, as a last resort for starting the car when the harsh Russian winters had frozen your starter battery.

When the Fiat 124 was a fresh and new Italian design, it was regarded as a fashionable middle class car. But a few decades later arriving to school at the backseat of the robust Russian version was a cause for you to get bullied by the other kids. Strange how automotive snobbery work.
I wonder what will happen to an automotive snob if you put all the badges on the car turning it into a Fiatladaseattofaskia!

The car on the picture got a backstory, it was build at a salvage yard in Europe in the 80's
Most of its body from behind the firewall is an almost new Lada that drove into a tree and suffered engine and front suspension damage, the front panels and engine along with some of the trim is from a Seat where the cab was fire damaged, The transmission is from a Fiat. Thanks to decent welding technique and the excellent fitment of parts based on the same design the car could be completed with near perfect seams, hiding what parts came from where. present on the salvage yard was also two rare cars, a Turkish Tofas and a Korean imported Fiat Kia that provided parts for the build
Thanks to a friendly bureaucrat the official documents says Car, type 124/2101

The car is here seen driven by Pipimi from Pop team epic with Popuko on the passenger seat giving advice's to all the car snobs out there.
Why? Because they are up for doing random stuff like that when they feel like it and sticking it to the haters.
A car snob's head explodes from emotional overload over the various badges and their mixed association plastered on the front grille

Done be a hater folks!

The Pop Team epic characters belongs to the Japanese artist Bkup Okawa.
