Description I am having my own little version of Inktober where I deviate from the prompts and just draw a new car each day.

I am recovering from the fluke, I have fallen days behind on my cartober challenge, but I am starting to pick up the pace and catch up.

The 3 wheeled reliant cars filed a niche market in Britain thanks to a now defunct regulation that allowed people who just had a small motorcycle/moped license to drive a 3 wheeled car with a registered mass no greater than 450 kg. This is similar to the status still enjoyed by the Piago Ape trucks in many European countries, except for the fact that those were limited to the speeds of the moped class they were registered as, where as the Reliant in Britain can go on the highway.

Originally the bicycle manufacturer Raleigh developed a 3 wheeled car to tap into this market, but when they discontinued it, Reliant motor company took over the production and developed it further resulting in a line of 3 wheeled cars with light fiber glass bodywork to keep the weight low, a line that continued for decades until the last was build and the company ceased to build cars in 2001.

Over the years of production the 3 wheeled Reliant would have different names and body designs, from the Reliant Regent to the Reliant regal depicted here, which was available both as a van and a sedan, and ending production with the Reliant Robin.

Various reliant 3 wheelers earned a bad reputation for tipping over due to their depiction in pop culture, most notorious in Mr Bean and in TopGear, the latter of which put weights into them, welded the differential and occasionally put miss matching wheel sizes on the rear axle to make them easier to tip for entertainment value in the episode they were featured in.
In reality tipping a Reliant Robin is much harder than it appears on screen.

The Reliant Regal in particular earned its spotlight as the prey of Mr Beans automotive shenanigans either accidentally crossing paths with Bean or deliberately being picked out by Mr Bean.

We never get to see the driver of the Regal that Mr Bean torments. So I have come up with this anthropomorphic deer like creature that is also called a Regal.
They are a bit shy and nerdy, and are known for driving Reliant cars.

There is also another Reliant Regal in pop culture, the Totters van in the comedy series Only Fools and horses, I have never seen that show through so I cant comment further on that. Is it good folks?
I like most British comedy, Perhaps I should give it a try.
