This is Katie, from an old friend's W.I.T.C.H. fanfiction story, "Guardians of Eos" (which has now been taken over by my good pal, and myself).

It's funny how I'd just noticed that as each profile had been produced/presented, each one sort of got longer. This one's in between. Meh. ^_^'

Anyway! Again, please note that none of the Eos Guardians are/were inspired by the original/canon W.I.T.C.H. or even C.H.Y.K.N. Guardians, but instead by real life people, a.k.a. friends of ours, including some of the personality traits instilled within the girls.

Seventeen-year-old Kaitlin "Katie" Lu is, in some ways, the perfect epitome of a two-sided coin, quite often finding herself becoming splintered into one extreme and then the next. Ambitious, yet also a proven procrastinator; innovative, yet at times pedantic; and even mature, yet at times rather flighty, her unique personality enables the best of both worlds, for not only herself, but all those who know her.

Having grown up as an only child, Katie's occasional loneliness would quite often give way to her ample inner expression, which would preoccupy a lot of her time finding various ways to be creative and/or re-invent herself, and also acted as a gateway to a multitude of other interests and activities which still hold true for her to this day. Although having always been so wrought and blessed with talent, her overall enthusiasm is also always generally outweighed by her lack of consistent application (as her fairly constant desire for new, untapped inspiration overpowers her more often than not), resulting within many an uncompleted task or project throughout the years. Still, Katie's natural thirst for knowledge and reasoning has awarded her a fairly decent amount of eloquence as a result, often making her quite the conversationalist or ice-breaker, even, within various situations. However, much like her ample creative enthusiasm, while her affinity for learning new things is great, her fondness for putting in or maintaining the technical effort/concentration has always been lacking, as well.

Although generally courteous, even at times affectionate by default, Katie's good nature also frequently turns sour, sulking especially during times when things may not go the way she'd originally intended. Even her mostly idealistic view toward others and life in general is distinctly known to commonly transition into one filled with ample cynicism in contradiction, which in turn can cause her to become rather egotistical or self-righteous as a result.

Regardless, Katie is awarded the tasks and ample responsibilities as the newest Eos Guardian of Air, a fact which surprisingly left her feeling the most adjusted to the idea, initially viewing it as yet another 'project' of sorts to tackle and invest her admittedly fleeting interest within. Perhaps as an extending result, coupled with her natural voracity for better insight, her personal magical prowess becomes one of the first within her newfound group to flourish at a very early stage (a fact which both she and Gina, who also manages to excel rather swiftly to her own magical abilities, take note of and is momentarily miffed at when it is learned that Melody is the chosen second-in-command to their leader, Ellie, instead).

And although she is not necessarily good under pressure, extreme or otherwise, her strong analytical intelligence habitually proves to be a key asset to the group during times of crisis.

Of them all, Katie has found herself bonding the most with both Ellie and Shin, as each girl shares varying qualities as well as interests she personally holds within herself (more often than not finding Ellie's own personal wisdom, reflection and even sense of humor nearly identical to her own, despite the fairly decent age difference between them, while also finding the much closer in age Shin's emotional fluctuations, raw honesty and opinions rather intriguing and even insightful in their own way, as well).

Stronger and more effective than that of that of both Hay Lin's, as well as previous Eos Air Guardian abilities. Involves controlling as well as manipulating the element of Air, including creating clouds, windstorms, whirlwinds and tornadoes; altering the temperature of air to the point of freezing or severely humid; displacing air within a room or beings; creating air bubbles for traveling underwater; possessing super-Hearing abilities; sucking the air and wind out of living beings; creating a multitude of shapes out of air such as weapons, animals and creatures; manipulate and control steam; greatly strengthened and amplified agility/movement; summoning or diminishing the presence of clouds, as the control over said power strengthens over time; enhanced physical strength; and glamouring, developing finer control within certain aspects of said primary ability over time.
