It's not! Just plain matte green. I thought that too looking at it, it's so weird! I think it's my shading

That may be, try a different type of dark green, that may help, this is sort of dark teal almost , try a more forest green :3 it may help

It's a bit hard to tell that it's mossy because of it being metallic , but it's otherwise a very nice piece
