Description cardboard experiment I did with a broken lionel scout locomotive that only went in reverse.
always thought armored trains were awesome, so I made one. armor is cardboard, rivets are mustard seeds carefully cut in half, and grab irons are staple gun staples. painted German field green, dry brushed, and dusted with some mig rust.
next one is gonna be made of balsa wood and will look much more...complete.

Astounding! Cardboard and a Lionel Scout, to an American rival to the Kriegslok!
I guess if it only goes backwards, it's going to need an armoured tender.

Wooww... Great Custom... I agree with other reviews, not noticed that the shielding is cardboard.

Thanks! This guy was just a quikie, a proof of concept. I have another locomotive that actually works, along with a what will hopefully soon be a full armored train.
