i love this, the atmosphere is so well set, especially with the parts of the house rotting in view.
my only critique though, is that theres too much editing in the girl. she looks so..fake, especially because the dress kind of whitens out into itself. unless that was what you were going for?

There's a very hesitatnt feeling to this pic...like a calm before the storm or a quick, quiet moment before something horrible will happen. You've captured that sinking feeling in your stomach very well. Nicely done!

Which area of the south? Deep south, as in Mississippi, or southern mountains, as in West Virginia? Either place has some of the most beautiful areas and people anyone would ever want to meet, see or know. I know...I'm from down there.

Wonderful image! I love the rustic, textured feel of the house contrasted with the little girls bright white dress. She is the perfect model for this shot because she has a haunted look about her that makes the viewer want to know more about the story behind the scene you have created. Very compelling...
